Thyroid ultrasound is a completely painless and safe examination that takes approximately 15–20 minutes:

- 2The doctor applies transparent gel to the neck area.
- 3The probe examines the thyroid, parathyroid glands and neck lymph nodes.
- 4Images are displayed in real time on the screen.
- 5After the examination, you receive the report and explanation.
Ultrasound does not use radiation – suitable for all age groups, including pregnant women and children.
